Our Mission Statement
• Our Mission is to improve the quality of HIV and AIDS services by our members through strengthened organisational development, membership competence, resource mobilisation, networking, information sharing and cutting edge advocacy issues by collaboration between the members, secretariat and other stakeholders.
We Value
• Accountability - We affirm our commitment to being accountable for the fulfilment of all duties and professional obligations associated with our position • Representation - We value representation of our members’ needs irrespective of their status, size, gender and religious affiliation • Participation - Active participation and involvement of members, government and other stakeholders to realise, our vision and mission thereby, meaningfully contributing to the National HIV and AIDS response. • Communication - In order to enhance a shared vision, among ZAN members and relevant stakeholders, the importance of communication is paramount. • Transparency - ZAN embraces promotion of openness, honesty and responsibility and adherence to good governance by all members.
Our Objectives
• To mobilise resources (financial, material, human) required by members • To enhance the competencies of ZAN membership in key areas for effective programme delivery • To improve co-ordination in programming for HIV and AIDS interventions in the communities. • To improve updated and accurate information flow between network members and other stakeholders. • To increase best practices uptake by network members • To enhance competency among members in advocacy • To enable ZAN advocacy member organisations and other membership to effectively advocate on issues of: Treatment, Gender and HIV and AIDS, TB and HIV.

ZAN membership is open to:
• Zimbabwe AIDS Service Organisations (ASOs) • Institutions, organisations and companies with an HIV and AIDS intervention programme
